MANCHESTER UNITED 1994-97 THIRD SHIRT - CANTONA 7 - XL
GRADE
DESCRIPTION
Excellent condition. Club crest is embroidered and Umbro logo and sponsors are sublimated. No pulls or bobbles. Player name/number and sleeve patches are flock and heat applied, halo from previous name/number still visible. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.
Worn across two seasons as United's third shirt as they secured the double in 1995/96. This shirt had an excellent sublimated detailing which paid homage to the 1968 European Cup win and former club players.
It is probably most famous for being the shirt that United changed into at half-time in the 1996/97 season after being 3-0 down against the Saints at The Dell. The players claimed they couldn't pick each other out against the backdrop of the crowd in their grey shirts. Ultimately, it didn't make too much of a difference as the still ended up losing 6-3.
