Liverpool enjoyed one of their most memorable Premier League campaigns during 2013/14 under Brendan Rodgers, mounting an extraordinary title challenge and finishing just two points behind champions Manchester City.

The Reds finished second in the Premier League with 84 points, recording 26 victories and scoring an exceptional 101 league goals. Their attacking football made Liverpool one of the most entertaining sides in English football, as Rodgers' team emerged as genuine title contenders during the second half of the campaign.

Liverpool recorded an impressive eleven-match winning streak between February and April 2014, moving to the top of the Premier League table and putting themselves in contention for their first English league championship since 1990.

Luis Suárez enjoyed an outstanding individual season, scoring 31 Premier League goals to secure the Golden Boot. The Uruguayan was also named PFA Players' Player of the Year and FWA Footballer of the Year, establishing himself among the most influential players in European football.

His attacking partnership with Daniel Sturridge proved particularly effective, with the England international contributing 21 league goals. Together, the pair scored 52 Premier League goals, forming one of the most prolific attacking partnerships in the competition's history.

Liverpool's squad also featured captain Steven Gerrard, Philippe Coutinho, Raheem Sterling, Jordan Henderson and Martin Škrtel, with each playing an important role throughout the campaign.

The season included several memorable performances, including a 5–1 victory over Arsenal at Anfield, a 4–0 win against Everton in the Merseyside derby and a 3–0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford. Liverpool also defeated Tottenham Hotspur 5–0 away and 4–0 at home, demonstrating the attacking quality that characterised Rodgers' side.

Despite their remarkable run of form, Liverpool's title challenge ultimately fell short following a defeat to Chelsea and a dramatic 3–3 draw against Crystal Palace. Manchester City secured the championship on the final day, finishing two points ahead of the Reds.

Although Liverpool ended the season without silverware, their performances secured a return to the Champions League for the first time since the 2009/10 campaign and established the 2013/14 season as one of the club's most memorable Premier League title challenges.

Produced by Warrior, the 2013/14 classic home shirt featured Liverpool's traditional red colours with subtle pinstripe detailing, a yellow Liver bird crest and the Standard Chartered sponsor. Associated with Suárez's extraordinary goalscoring campaign and Liverpool's remarkable title challenge, it remains one of the club's most recognisable shirts of the 2010s.

Condition
Condition: 8/10 - Excellent

Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.

Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.

Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.

Our condition guide

10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.

9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.

8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.

7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.

6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.

Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.

Product Care

Vintage sportswear requires a little extra care to help preserve fabric, colour and printed details.

Following the steps below will help protect sponsor logos, badges, namesets and delicate materials.

Drying

- Air dry naturally
- Hang or dry flat in a well-ventilated space
- Avoid direct heat from radiators and strong sunlight where possible
- Do not tumble dry

Storage

- Store in a cool, dry place
- Keep away from damp environments or direct sunlight
- For long-term storage, fold carefully to avoid stressing prints and badges
- If hanging, use a wide/padded hanger to help maintain shape

Protecting prints, badges and sponsor logos

- Do not iron directly over prints, namesets, patches or sponsor logos
