Liverpool's 2021/22 season was good but it could have been great. The team won the EFL Cup for a record 9th time along with the FA Cup to secure a domestic cup double. However, the pressure proved to be too much as they fell short in the league, finishing 2nd, and lost 1-0 in their 2nd Champions League final in 3 years.
