2023/24 saw Mallorca finish 15th in La Liga but their main success was in the Copa Del Rey as the reached the final for the first time in over 20 years. A competitive game saw the sides draw 1-1 after extra time before Mallorca lost 4-2 on penalties. Forward Abdón ended the season as the team's top scorer with 12 goals in all competitons.
