Excellent condition. Club crest and Meyba logo are embroidered patches and stitched onto shirt. Nike swoosh is embroidered. One bobbles, one pull to lower front. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.
Worn across seven seasons from 1982/83 to 1988/89, this Barcelona home shirt featured during a memorable period in the club's history, with some of football's most recognisable players representing the Catalan side.
The early years of the shirt's lifespan coincided with Diego Maradona's arrival from Boca Juniors in 1982. The Argentine joined a squad featuring Bernd Schuster and helped Barcelona secure the Copa del Rey in 1982/83, defeating Real Madrid 2–1 in the final.
Following Maradona's departure for Napoli in 1984, Barcelona enjoyed further domestic success under Terry Venables. The club secured the 1984/85 La Liga title, finishing ten points ahead of Atlético Madrid to claim their first Spanish championship in eleven years.
The following campaign saw Barcelona reach the European Cup final against Steaua București in Seville. Despite dominating possession, the Catalan side were unable to score, eventually losing on penalties following a goalless draw.
The latter years of the decade saw further notable arrivals, including Mark Hughes and Gary Lineker in 1986. Lineker enjoyed an impressive debut season, scoring 20 league goals and famously netting a hat-trick against Real Madrid in a 3–2 victory at Camp Nou.
Barcelona added another Copa del Rey title in 1987/88 before Johan Cruyff returned to the club as manager in 1988, beginning a new era that would transform the team's playing style and future achievements.
Produced by Meyba, the 1982–89 home shirt featured Barcelona's traditional blue and garnet vertical stripes, complemented by a distinctive collar and the manufacturer's branding. Its association with Maradona, Schuster, Hughes and Lineker, alongside the club's domestic successes, makes it one of Barcelona's most recognisable and celebrated designs of the 1980s.

7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.

Washing
- Hand wash where possible. For delicate or older items, hand wash only

- Hang or dry flat in a well-ventilated space

- Store in a cool, dry place
- Keep away from damp environments or direct sunlight
- For long-term storage, fold carefully to avoid stressing prints and badges
- If hanging, use a wide/padded hanger to help maintain shape
Protecting prints, badges and sponsor logos
- Do not iron directly over prints, namesets, patches or sponsor logos
- Avoid excessive heat, as this can damage vinyl, flock and older materials
- Take extra care with vintage shirts that have original printing or delicate embellishments
