SWITZERLAND 2008-10 PLAYER-ISSUE AWAY SHIRT - 16 FERNANDES (v LATVIA)
Description & Sizing
Player issue Switzerland home shirt, issued as part of a 2010 World Cup qualifying fixture between Switzerland and Latvia on 11th October 2008 in St Gallen, Switzerland. The number 16 wasn't given to a specific member of the match-day squad and was likely made up as a spare shirt to be used if needed during the game itself.
This version of the shirt has the player issue features which differ from the replica versions, including heat applied details such as the flock federation crest, Puma logos, player number and World Cup qualifying sleeve patches. The shirt material is also made to be as light as possible with heat applied seams and printed internal size labels to aid player performance.
