Very good condition. Club crest and Umbro logos are flock and embossed. Various small pulls or bobbles across shirt. Overall colour wear to collar, shirt colours and stitching are in excellent condition.

In 1989/90, Sheffield United were promoted for the 2nd consecutive season to Division 1 after finishing 2nd and only missing out on the Division 2 title on goal difference.

In 1990/91, it seemed the First Division was a bridge too far, with the club going 16 matches without a win at the start of the season, leaving the club bottom of the division on Christmas Day with only 4 points. However, a run of 7 straight victories from the turn of the year lifted the club from 20th to 12th to ensure United's survival in 13th, 12 points clear of relegation.
