1995/96 saw Barcelona miss out on 3 trophies towards the end of the season which saw the Barcelona board replaced the legendary John Cryuff with Bobby Robson at the end of the season.

The change helped bring silverware back to the Nou Camp at the team won the Copa del Rey and UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. Firepower was provided by Ronaldo who was bought for a then-world record fee of $19.5 million and he netted 47 goals in all competitions.
