Description & Sizing
Excellent condition. Aeroswift version of shirt with printed internal-wash labels, authentic Gold Nike label to lower front and lightweight, breathable material throughout. Club crest, league sleeve patch, shoulder strips and Nike logo are all rubber and heat applied. Player name/number is PolyFlex and also heat applied. No pulls or bobbles. Colours and stitching are excellent.
Roma enjoyed a memorable 2017/18 campaign under Eusebio Di Francesco, finishing third in Serie A and reaching the UEFA Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 1984.
The season marked the beginning of a new era following the retirement of Francesco Totti, who had concluded his 25-year first-team career at the end of the previous campaign. The Giallorossi featured a squad including Edin Džeko, Daniele De Rossi, Alessandro Florenzi, Radja Nainggolan, Kevin Strootman, Stephan El Shaarawy and goalkeeper Alisson Becker.
Roma finished third in Serie A with 77 points, securing qualification for the following season's UEFA Champions League. Džeko finished as the club's leading league scorer with 16 goals.
In Europe, Roma topped a challenging Champions League group containing Chelsea, Atlético Madrid and Qarabağ before eliminating Shakhtar Donetsk in the Round of 16.
Their quarter-final against Barcelona produced one of the most memorable results in the club's history. After losing the first leg 4–1 at Camp Nou, Roma secured a remarkable 3–0 victory at the Stadio Olimpico through goals from Džeko, De Rossi and Kostas Manolas, progressing on away goals. The Giallorossi subsequently faced Liverpool in the semi-finals, narrowly missing out on a place in the final following a 7–6 aggregate defeat.
Brazilian midfielder Gerson contributed to Roma's squad throughout the campaign, making 24 Serie A appearances and scoring twice during a 4–2 victory over Fiorentina.
Produced by Nike, this 2017/18 match-issue third shirt features Gerson's name and number. Its match-issue specification and association with Roma's historic Champions League semi-final campaign make it a distinctive player-specific collector's item.
