Odense Boldklub experienced a challenging 2011/12 campaign in the Danish Superliga, finishing tenth following their second-place finish the previous season.
Having secured qualification for European competition, OB entered the campaign hoping to build upon their domestic success and challenge for a place among Denmark's leading clubs. The squad featured established players including Andreas Johansson, Bashkim Kadrii, Hans Henrik Andreasen, Chris Sørensen and goalkeeper Stefan Wessels, alongside experienced midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba.
Under manager Henrik Clausen, Odense began the season with the additional challenge of balancing domestic fixtures with European qualification.
In the UEFA Champions League qualifying rounds, OB defeated Panathinaikos 5–4 on aggregate to secure a play-off meeting with Spanish side Villarreal. The Danish club produced an impressive 1–0 victory in the opening leg at home, with Andreasen scoring the winning goal.
However, Villarreal recovered in the return fixture, securing a 3–0 victory to eliminate Odense 3–1 on aggregate. The result saw OB enter the UEFA Europa League group stage, where they faced Fulham, Twente and Wisła Kraków.
Despite a difficult European campaign, Odense produced a memorable result against Fulham at Craven Cottage in December 2011. Trailing 2–0, the Danish side recovered to secure a 2–2 draw, with Djemba-Djemba reducing the deficit before Baye Djiby Fall scored a dramatic equaliser in stoppage time.
Domestically, Odense struggled to reproduce the consistency that had secured their runners-up finish in 2010/11. A series of disappointing results led to managerial changes, with Poul Hansen taking temporary charge before Troels Bech returned to the club.
Odense eventually finished tenth in the Superliga, avoiding relegation but falling considerably short of their previous European qualification position. The campaign represented a transitional period for OB, combining memorable European performances with difficulties in domestic competition.
The 2011/12 Odense away shirt formed part of the club's kit collection during their UEFA Champions League qualifying campaign and subsequent Europa League group-stage appearance. Featuring the OB crest and club branding, the design represents a season in which Odense competed against established European opposition while navigating a challenging domestic campaign.

Condition
Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.
Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.
Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.
Our condition guide
10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.
9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.
8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.
7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.
Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.
