Excellent condition. Club crest and Nike Swoosh are embroidered. Club sponsor is PolyFlex and player name/number are flock, all are heat applied. No pulls or bobbles. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.
Worn across two seasons, this Manchester United design served as the club's away shirt during the 2011/12 campaign before becoming their third shirt for 2012/13.
Manchester United began the 2011/12 season by winning the Community Shield, overturning a two-goal deficit to defeat Manchester City 3–2 at Wembley. The Red Devils went on to finish second in the Premier League with 89 points, level with Manchester City but missing out on the title on goal difference following Sergio Agüero's stoppage-time winner against Queens Park Rangers on the final day.
In the UEFA Champions League, United finished third in a group containing Benfica, Basel and Oțelul Galați, subsequently entering the UEFA Europa League. Having eliminated Ajax in the Round of 32, United were defeated by Athletic Bilbao in the Round of 16.
The following campaign saw Manchester United secure their 20th English league title, finishing 11 points clear of Manchester City with 89 points. Robin van Persie, who joined from Arsenal in the summer of 2012, finished as the Premier League's leading scorer with 26 goals, earning the Golden Boot.
In European competition, United reached the Champions League Round of 16 before being eliminated by Real Madrid following a 3–2 aggregate defeat.
The 2012/13 season also marked Sir Alex Ferguson's final campaign as Manchester United manager. Ferguson announced his retirement in May 2013, bringing an end to a tenure of more than 26 years at Old Trafford that included 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups and two UEFA Champions League victories.
