Everton endured another challenging campaign in 2022/23, finishing 17th in the Premier League after securing their top-flight status on the final day of the season.
The Toffees began the campaign under Frank Lampard, with a squad featuring Jordan Pickford, Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Alex Iwobi, Dwight McNeil, Demarai Gray, Amadou Onana, James Tarkowski and Conor Coady.
Following a difficult run of results, Lampard departed in January 2023, with Sean Dyche appointed as his successor. The new manager made an immediate impact, guiding Everton to a 1–0 victory over league leaders Arsenal in his first match in charge, courtesy of a James Tarkowski header.
Despite the managerial change, Everton continued to battle against relegation throughout the second half of the campaign, recording important results against Brentford, Tottenham Hotspur and Brighton & Hove Albion. A memorable 5–1 away victory over Brighton in May provided a significant boost to Everton's survival hopes, with Abdoulaye Doucouré scoring twice and McNeil also contributing two goals.
However, the club's Premier League status remained uncertain heading into the final day, when Everton faced Bournemouth at Goodison Park. With the match goalless, Doucouré scored a spectacular second-half goal from outside the penalty area to secure a 1–0 victory, confirming Everton's Premier League survival.
The Toffees eventually finished 17th with 36 points, two points clear of the relegation zone, extending their uninterrupted stay in the English top flight. McNeil finished as Everton's leading scorer with seven goals across all competitions, while Pickford remained an important figure throughout the campaign.
Despite the difficulties, the season featured several memorable moments at Goodison Park, particularly the final-day victory over Bournemouth that secured Everton's Premier League status.
Produced by hummel, the 2022/23 home shirt featured Everton's traditional royal blue colours, with a distinctive tonal pattern inspired by the architecture of Goodison Park. The shirt represents a challenging campaign in which Sean Dyche guided the Toffees to Premier League survival, culminating in a memorable final-day victory over Bournemouth.

Condition
Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.
Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.
Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.
Our condition guide
10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.
9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.
8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.
7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.
Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.
