The 2014/15 season was a successful one for Chelsea as Jose Mourinho secured the club's 4th Premier League title and also won the League Cup.

The season was the first in almost 15 years without Frank Lampard who had left the club on a free transfer at the end of the previous season. He left having played 648 games and scoring 211 goals during which he won 13 trophies.
