Arsenal wore this home shirt across the 2006/07 and 2007/08 campaigns, a period that marked the club's move to the Emirates Stadium and the departure of Thierry Henry, one of the most influential players in its history.
Following their final season at Highbury, Arsenal began the 2006/07 campaign at their newly built stadium under Arsène Wenger, entering a new era after 93 years at their previous home. The squad featured established players including Henry, Cesc Fàbregas, Robin van Persie, Gilberto Silva, Emmanuel Adebayor, Tomáš Rosický and Kolo Touré, alongside emerging talents such as Theo Walcott.
Arsenal experienced an inconsistent first season at the Emirates, eventually finishing fourth in the Premier League with 68 points, 21 behind champions Manchester United.
Despite their league difficulties, the Gunners reached the League Cup final against Chelsea at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff. Walcott opened the scoring, but two goals from Didier Drogba secured a 2–1 victory for Chelsea. In the UEFA Champions League, Arsenal were eliminated in the Round of 16 by PSV Eindhoven, losing 2–1 on aggregate.
Henry's campaign was disrupted by injuries, and the French striker departed for Barcelona during the summer of 2007, bringing an end to his remarkable eight-year spell in North London.
The following season saw Arsenal mount a stronger Premier League title challenge, with Adebayor, Fàbregas and Van Persie becoming increasingly influential. Wenger's side remained unbeaten in the league until February 2008 and spent considerable time at the top of the table.
However, a series of draws during the closing months affected their title challenge, with Arsenal eventually finishing third on 83 points, four behind champions Manchester United. Adebayor finished the campaign with 24 Premier League goals, establishing himself as one of the division's leading strikers.
Arsenal also reached the Champions League quarter-finals, where they were eliminated by Liverpool following a 5–3 aggregate defeat.
Produced by Nike, the 2006–08 Arsenal home shirt featured the club's traditional red body with white sleeves, complemented by gold detailing and the Fly Emirates sponsor. Introduced for Arsenal's first season at the Emirates Stadium, the design is closely associated with Henry's final campaign at the club and the emergence of Wenger's next generation of players.

Condition
Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.
Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.
Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.
Our condition guide
10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.
9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.
8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.
7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.
Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.

Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Keep away from damp environments or direct sunlight
- For long-term storage, fold carefully to avoid stressing prints and badges
- If hanging, use a wide/padded hanger to help maintain shape
Protecting prints, badges and sponsor logos
- Do not iron directly over prints, namesets, patches or sponsor logos
- Avoid excessive heat, as this can damage vinyl, flock and older materials
