AC Milan finished fourth in Serie A during the 2022/23 campaign under Stefano Pioli, securing qualification for the following season's UEFA Champions League while reaching the semi-finals of Europe's leading club competition.
The Rossoneri entered the season as defending Italian champions, having secured their 19th Scudetto in 2021/22. The squad featured Rafael Leão, Olivier Giroud, Theo Hernández, Sandro Tonali, Ismaël Bennacer, Mike Maignan and Junior Messias.
Milan recorded 20 league victories and finished with 70 points, securing fourth place following a 1–0 victory over Juventus in May 2023. Leão enjoyed another productive campaign, contributing 15 Serie A goals, while Giroud provided experience and important goals throughout the season.
In the UEFA Champions League, Milan progressed from a group containing Chelsea, Red Bull Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb before defeating Tottenham Hotspur 1–0 on aggregate in the Round of 16.
A 2–1 aggregate victory over Napoli followed in the quarter-finals, with Giroud scoring the decisive goal in the second leg at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. Milan subsequently faced city rivals Inter in the semi-finals, their first meeting at this stage of the competition since 2003. Inter secured a 3–0 aggregate victory to reach the final.
The Rossoneri also contested the Supercoppa Italiana final against Inter, although their city rivals secured a 3–0 victory in Riyadh.
Produced by PUMA, the 2022/23 third shirt featured a predominantly olive-green design with contrasting detailing and the Emirates Fly Better sponsor. The alternative colourway offered a departure from Milan's traditional colours during a campaign that included their first Champions League semi-final appearance in 16 years.

Condition
Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.
Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.
Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.
Our condition guide
10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.
9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.
8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.
7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.
Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.

Protecting prints, badges and sponsor logos
- Do not iron directly over prints, namesets, patches or sponsor logos
