AC Milan enjoyed another competitive campaign during 2011/12 under Massimiliano Allegri, finishing second in Serie A, reaching the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals and winning the Supercoppa Italiana.
Having secured their 18th Serie A championship the previous season, the Rossoneri entered the campaign looking to defend their title. Allegri's squad featured established players including Zlatan Ibrahimović, Thiago Silva, Alessandro Nesta, Clarence Seedorf, Gennaro Gattuso, Alexandre Pato and Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Milan began the season with silverware, defeating city rivals Inter Milan 2–1 in the Supercoppa Italiana in Beijing. Having fallen behind to a Wesley Sneijder free kick, second-half goals from Ibrahimović and Boateng secured the trophy.
The Rossoneri remained in contention for the Serie A title throughout the campaign, competing closely with Antonio Conte's Juventus. Despite recording 24 league victories, Milan ultimately finished second with 80 points, four behind the unbeaten champions.
Ibrahimović enjoyed another exceptional individual season, scoring 28 Serie A goals to secure the Capocannoniere award as the league's leading scorer. The Swedish striker finished with 35 goals in all competitions, while midfielder Antonio Nocerino also impressed with ten league goals.
In the UEFA Champions League, Milan progressed from a group featuring Barcelona, Viktoria Plzeň and BATE Borisov before facing Arsenal in the Round of 16.
The Rossoneri produced an outstanding performance in the first leg at San Siro, defeating Arsenal 4–0 through goals from Boateng, Robinho and Ibrahimović. Despite losing the return fixture 3–0 at the Emirates Stadium, Milan progressed 4–3 on aggregate.
Their European campaign ended in the quarter-finals against Barcelona. Following a goalless draw at San Siro, Milan suffered a 3–1 defeat at Camp Nou, with Lionel Messi scoring twice from the penalty spot. Milan also reached the Coppa Italia semi-finals, where they were eliminated by Juventus following a 4–3 aggregate defeat after extra time.
The campaign marked the end of an era at San Siro, with several long-serving players departing during the summer of 2012, including Nesta, Seedorf, Gattuso, Filippo Inzaghi and Gianluca Zambrotta. Ibrahimović and Thiago Silva also subsequently joined Paris Saint-Germain, bringing significant changes to the squad.
Produced by adidas, the 2011/12 home shirt featured Milan's traditional red-and-black stripes in a narrower design inspired by the club's early twentieth-century shirts. Completed with a white crew-neck collar, white adidas shoulder stripes and the Fly Emirates sponsor, the shirt was worn during Ibrahimović's 35-goal campaign and the Rossoneri's Supercoppa Italiana triumph.

Condition
Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.
Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.
Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.
Our condition guide
10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.
9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.
8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.
7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.
Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.
Product Care

Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place

Protecting prints, badges and sponsor logos
- Do not iron directly over prints, namesets, patches or sponsor logos
