ASTON VILLA 1987-89 HOME SHIRT - M

Excellent condition. Club crest, Manufacturer logo and sponsor are all flock and embossed, no signs of cracking of wear. Shirt design elements are sublimated. No pulls, few small bobbles to lower front of shirt and rear of left sleeve. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

Worn for 2 seasons, firstly in 1987/88 where Villa won promotion back to the Division One under Graham Taylor at the first attempt. In 1988/89, team performances towards the end of the season dropped and the club narrowly avoided relegation. A draw on the final day of the season help secure their top flight status.
