2023/24 saw Sheffield United back in the Premier League but suffer the same fate as before by the end of the season. A 20th place finish, registering just 3 wins and 16 points saw the Blades relegated. A host of unwanted records were set by the club including 104 goals conceded on their way down. Ben Brereton Díaz and Oli McBurnie shared the club's top scorer award with 6 each.
