Worn during the 2007/08 season as Benfica were unable to secure any silverware in what was a difficult season that saw 3 different managers take charge of the team. The end of the season saw the retirement of the legendary Rui Costa with the talismanic midfielder making his final appearance on 11th May 2008, earning a standing ovation in the 86th minute from supporter in the Estádio da Luz.
