DESCRIPTION

Excellent condition. Club crest, match detailing and Adidas logos are embroidered. Player name/number and sleeve patches are flock and heat applied. Club sponsor is PolyFlex and heat applied. No pulls, few small bobbles across lower front of shirt. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

After finishing 2nd in the league the previous season, Chelsea sacked Avram Grant and , replaced him with the Luiz Felipe Scolari. The team started well however by the end of November form dipped and they lost a home league game for the first time in 4 years. Scolari was sacked in early February and replaced with Guus Hiddink for the remainder of the season.

Hiddink's affect on the team was immediate, with 11 wins in the team's last 13 league games helping secure 3rd in the league. Hiddink also led Chelsea to another Champions League semi-final and to Wembley Stadium for the FA Cup Final. Chelsea won 2–1, winning the FA Cup for the 5th time in their history.
