SOUTHAMPTON 1987-89 LS MATCHWORN HOME SHIRT - 10 - L

Excellent condition, matchworn shirt. Club crest is embroidered. Club sponsor and  manufacturer logo are flock and embossed. Player number and shirt design elements are sublimated. Few small bobbles to rear of shirt and one mark to upper left chest, some wear to front sponsor. Stitching and colours in excellent condition.

In 1987/88, Southampton finished 12th in Division One and were unable to make any significant progress in any cup competitions under manager Chris Nicholl. The Saints has many young exciting talents in their squad at this time including Andy Townsend, Alan Shearer, Matt Le Tissier and Rod Wallace.

The shirt comes with a COA from a former Southampton player.
