Worn across 2 seasons, this infamous Hummel template shirt was re-appropriated for 3 teams in the English top flight in 1988/89. Unfortunately for Coventry it will be synonymous with the FA Cup upset in which they lost 2–1 in the 3rd round at lowly Sutton United, the club had won the whole competition just 2 years earlier.
