Very good condition. Club crest and manufacturer logo are embroidered. Club sponsor is plastic and embossed. Player name/number and rear club lettering are all PolyFlex and heat applied with some signs of cracking and wear. Few small pulls and bobbles across shirt. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

1997/98 saw Schalke finish 5th in the Bundesliga to secure qualification to the following seasons UEFA cup. After winning the competition the previous year, Die Knappen were unable to defend their crown as they were knocked out in the quarter finals.
