The 2005/06 season was a rollercoaster ride for Real Madrid. Despite a slow start, they managed to clinch the La Liga title under coach Juan Ramón López Caro.

Players like Raul, Ronaldo, and David Beckham played pivotal roles in their success. However, their journey in the UEFA Champions League was cut short as they were eliminated in the round of 16. Despite the disappointment in Europe, the domestic triumph in La Liga added another accolade to Real Madrid's bulging trophy cabinet.
