Excellent condition. Federation crest and Adidas logo are embroidered. Player name/number and sleeve stripes are PolyFlex and heat applied. No pulls or bobbles. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

The traditional La Albiceleste away colours were applied to the Adidas Climacool template for the 2002 World Cup. As usual, the Argentines arrived at the world cup with a squad featuring some of the games biggest names and one of the games most enigmatic coaches in Marcelo Bielsa. Sadly, they did not live up to the hype with an early exit in the group stages.

Messi made his debut in this shirt for Argentina but it turned into a night to forget for the young winger. He came on in the 63rd minute, only to be sent off just 2 minutes later after the referee interpreted his trailing arm was 'an intentional elbowing'.
