ARGENTINA 1997-98 LS MATCH ISSUE HOME SHIRT - 9 (BATISTUTA) - L

Very good condition. Federation crest and Adidas logo are embroidered. Front/rear player numbers are flock and heat applied. No pulls or bobbles, few small marks on front of shirt. Colour wear to collar, shirt colours and stitching in excellent condition.

Worn at the 1997 Copa America where Argentina were eliminated at the Quarter Final stage after a 2-1 defeat to Peru. It was also worn during the 1998 World Cup qualifiers with Gabriel Batistuta appearing a few of the qualifying games despite falling out with manager, Daniel Passarella, over team rules. The two eventually put the dispute aside and Batistuta was recalled for the tournament the following year.
