Milan were the Serie A champions heading into the new season and started by winning the Supercoppa Italiana but they couldn't defend their title from The Old Lady who won the league by 4 points. 

Zlatan Ibrahimović ended the season as the clubs top scorer with 35 goals in all competitions in his first spell with the club.
