2021/22 saw Nuno Espirito Santo take charge of Spurs, intended as the start of a new era for the club however he was sacked in early November with the club 9th in the league and losing 5 of their 10 games at that point.

Antonio Conte was a controversial replacement in some fan's eyes due to his previous connection to their cross-city rivals but he managed to steady the ship and led the club to a 4th placed finish, securing Champions League football for the following season.
