Worn as Iceland made their first major appearance in an international tournament at Euro 2016. The nation weren't there just to make up the numbers either as they came 2nd in their group and were unbeaten in their 3 games.

In the round of 16, they famously beat the English, 2–1 but they lost 5–2 against hosts in the quarter-finals. Despite the loss the players and the entire nation would be proud of their performance.
