Very good condition. Club crest and Adidas logo are embroidered. Club sponsor and rear club lettering are flock and embossed with minimal colour wear and mark to front sponsor. Player name/number are flock and heat applied. No pulls, few small bobbles to lower front. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

During 2001/02, Bayern were unable to defend either of their titles won the previous season, finishing 3rd in the Bundesliga and losing in the quarter-final of the Champions League. 

The team did have some success in lifting the Intercontinental Cup, with defender Samuel Kuffour scoring in extra time to secure a 1-0 victory, he also won the man of the match award for his performance.
