This shirt was worn in 2017 after being created by Adidas for the club's inaugural MLS season. The club finished 4th in the Eastern Conference before being eliminated in the knockout round of the play-offs after a 3-1 penalty shootout defeat.

2018 saw the team finish 2nd in the league before lifting their first ever trophy, the MLS Cup. Striker Josef Martínez was one of the most prolific goalscorers in world football scoring 55 goals in all competitions across the two seasons.
