Excellent condition. Club crest and Adidas logos are embroidered. Club sponsor is flock and embossed. Player name and number is Polyflex and heat applied. Small amount of bobbling and pulls across front of shirt. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

After early season hype and an expected title push failed to materialise as the club finished 3rd in the league. An FA Cup final defeat to one of their closest rivals further cemented the disappointment. 

The end of the season also saw Ian Rush score his final goal for the Reds. After more than 300 goals in 2 spells at the club over the last 16 years, he would leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
