Excellent condition. Club crest and manufacturer logo are embroidered. Club sponsor is flock and embossed. Player name/number are flock and heat applied. No pulls, few small bobbles to lower front of shirt. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

1997/98 was a season of 2 halves for the Eagles as they started strongly and stood 10th in table by the beginning of December. However, results dropped off and the club slid down the table, eventually finishing 20th. Striker Bruce Dyer ended the season as the club's top scorer with 8 goals in all competitions.

Despite the 20th place finish the clubs did qualify for the following seasons Intertoto Cup as they were the only English team who applied for the competition.
