Worn across 2 seasons by West Ham with contrasting fortunes in each of them. Under Harry Redknapp the Hammers finished 9th in 1999/00 and won the Intertoto Cup to secure a spot in the UEFA Cup. 

Redknapp departed the club towards the end of the following season after a row with the chairman over transfer budgets and strategy. Caretaker manager and former youth coach Glenn Roeder took charge until the end of the season before taking over on a permanent basis the following season.
