Excellent condition. Club crest and Nike swoosh are embroidered. Club sponsor is flock and embossed. Player name/number are flock and heat applied. Wear to lower rear motif. No bobbles or pulls. Colours and stitching are in excellent condition. 

Following the sacking of Bruce Rioch, Arsène Wenger was appointed as his replacement becoming the club's first manager born outside of the British Isles. At the end of the 1996/97 campaign, Arsenal finished 3rd in the Premier League however it was to be a building block for success the following season.

In 1997/98, Wenger led the club to their 1st league title in 7 years and also the 1998 FA Cup, completing the clubs 2nd domestic double and their first since 1971.
