2001/02 was a difficult season for Leicester City as they were relegated from the Premier League after 6 years in the top flight. Off the pitch, rising financial issues caused issues in the boardroom and on the pitch 4 different managers were unable to turn the tide as the Foxes were sent down, finishing bottom of the league with 28 points and just 5 wins all season.
