2011/12 saw Juve return to former glory under Antonio Conte, his arrival also coincided with the acquisitions of Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal who reinforced the team. The Old Lady conceded just 20 goals in Serie A and also became the first team to go the season unbeaten in the current 38-game format.

It was also a season of firsts and lasts as the club marked the opening of their new stadium, the Juventus Stadium but also said goodbye to club legend Alessandro Del Piero who played his last games for the club after almost two decades.
