Very good condition. Club crest and Adidas logo are embroidered. Club sponsor and rear club lettering are flock and embossed with minimal colour wear. Player name/number are flock and heat applied. No pulls. various small bobbles across both sides of shirt. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

During 2001/02, Bayern were unable to defend either of their titles won the previous season, finishing 3rd in the Bundesliga and losing in the quarter-final of the Champions League. 

The team did have some success in lifting the Intercontinental Cup, with defender Samuel Kuffour scoring in extra time to secure a 1-0 victory, he also won the man of the match award for his performance.
