Worn during the 2000/01 season which saw the team start the season promisingly, however by December they had dropped into the relegation zone after obtaining only one win from 13 matches.

Unfortunately for Coventry and their fans they would stay there for the rest of the season and after 34 years in the top flight they were relegated in early May, the first time they had suffered relegation since 1958.
