Very good condition. Club crest and Nike swoosh are both embroidered. Club sponsor is flock and embossed. Player name/number is flock and heat applied. No bobbles, one small pulls lower front of shirt. Small amount of colour run to front of shirt, stitching in excellent condition.

Worn across 2 seasons, firstly as the away shirt in then as the 2001/02 third, this shirt saw Sunderland have another strong season under Peter Reid in 2000/01. After being as high as 2nd in February, the Black Cats were unable to keep up their form and finished in 7th place, matching the previous seasons performance.

2001/02 was a contrasting season for the team as they narrowly avoided relegation. They were the lowest scoring team in the league with just 29 goals and ended the season in 17th place, just 4 points above the drop zone.
