Mint condition. Club crest and Nike swoosh are embroidered. Club sponsor is flock and embossed. Player name/number are flock and heat applied. Gunners motif to the lower rear is PolyFlex and heat applied with no signs of wear. No bobbles or pulls. Colours and stitching are in excellent condition. 

Following the sacking of Bruce Rioch, Arsène Wenger was appointed as his replacement becoming the club's first manager born outside of the British Isles. At the end of the 1996/97 campaign, Arsenal finished 3rd in the Premier League however it was to be a building block for success the following season.
