DESCRIPTION

Very good condition. Club crest is embroidered with overall colour wear. Adidas logo is stitched on. Club sponsor is flock and embossed with minimal colour wear. Player name/number are flock and heat applied. No pulls, two small bobbles to lower front. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

The Magpies recorded back to back 2nd place finishes under the management of Kevin Keegan, the summer of ‘96 saw the club bring home Alan Shearer for a then world record fee of £15m . 

Led by the exhilarating partnership of Shearer and Ferdinand, Newcastle started the season in scintillating form, topping the league table for much of the campaign. However, a late-season slump allowed Manchester United to overtake them in the title race. Despite finishing as runners-up in the Premier League, Newcastle's achievements were celebrated as they secured a Champions League spot.
