Worn at the 2002 World Cup as South Africa appeared at their 2nd consecutive finals. They just missed out on qualifying for the knockout stages after a competitive group had to be decided on goals scored.

Despite earning 4 points, the same as Paraguay, both teams had an equal goal difference of 0 after 3 games. Paraguay's 6 goals compared to South Africa's 5 meant that they advanced to the knockout stages.
