Excellent condition. Club and Nike logos are embroidered. Front and rear sponsors are printed, rear sponsors has minimal cracking and wear. Player name and number are Polyflex and heat applied. No pulls, few small bobbles to front of shirt. Stitching and colours in excellent condition.

Following the retirement of Diego Maradona the previous season, Juan Roman Riquleme inherited the number 10 shirt for 1998/99 and he inspired the club to their 1st Apertura victory in 6 years and also winning the Clausura tournament.

In 1999/00, Boca failed to retain their domestic titles but they were successful in the Copa Libertadores final beating Palmeiras on penalties to win the competition for the 1st time in 22 years.
