WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS 1996-98 HOME SHIRT - KIDS XL

Excellent condition. Club crest, manufacturer logos and club sponsor are flock and embossed. No pulls, few small bobbles across front of shirt. Shirt design elements are sublimated. Colours and stitching in excellent condition.

Worn across 2 seasons, 1996/97 saw Wolves finish 3rd in the league and qualify for the play-offs where they were knocked out in the semi-finals after a 4–3 aggregate defeat.

1996/97 saw the club struggle to maintain a play-off push and they eventually finished 9th. They did, however, reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup for the first time in 19 years, where they lost to the eventual winners.
