Worn across 2 seasons this shirt saw contrasting fortunes for Aberdeen. After finishing 9th in the Premier Division, Aberdeen faced Dunfermline Athletic in the relegation play-offs. Aberdeen won the tie 6–2 on aggregate, securing their place in the top flight for the 1995/96 Scottish Premier Division.

The following season was a much better showing with the team finishing 3rd securing European football for the following season as well as winning the 1995 League Cup under Roy Aitken.
