Tottenham endured a difficult season in 2022/23 which saw mixed results and 3 managers in charge of the club. Antonio Conte was sacked in late March after showing his frustration regarding the club's running in a news conference.

It was also the last season that the club's all-time leading goalscorer Harry Kane appeared for Spurs. He left at the end of the season to join the Bundesliga champions after a 14–year spell at the club.
