Worn across 2 seasons, this shirt design saw respectable 12th placed finish in 1997/98 following by a nervy relegation battle in 1998/99. Eventually finishing 17th, the Saints secured their safety by 5 points. Club legend Matt Le Tissier led the line across both seasons, scoring 11 and 7 goals respectively.
