2022/23 was a disappointing and disjointed season for Chelsea, despite being the first under new owner and chairman Todd Boehly. It was also the first time in Chelsea's history that they were manged by 4 different managers in a single season and the 1st since 1995/96 that the team failed to finish in the top half of the league table after ending the  season in 12th place.
