AS Roma secured a fifth-place finish in Serie A during the 2024/25 campaign, recovering from a difficult opening period to qualify for European competition under Claudio Ranieri.
The season began under Daniele De Rossi, who had been appointed permanently following his successful spell as interim manager during the previous campaign. Roma strengthened their squad during the summer transfer window, bringing in players including Artem Dovbyk, Matías Soulé and Manu Koné.
The new arrivals joined an established group featuring Paulo Dybala, Lorenzo Pellegrini, Gianluca Mancini, Bryan Cristante and Stephan El Shaarawy.
However, Roma struggled during the opening weeks of the campaign, with inconsistent results contributing to De Rossi's departure in September 2024. Ivan Jurić was subsequently appointed manager, although his tenure lasted less than two months following another difficult sequence of results.
In November, Claudio Ranieri returned to the club, beginning his third spell in charge of the Giallorossi. Under the experienced Italian manager, Roma produced a considerable improvement, establishing greater defensive organisation and a more consistent attacking approach.
The team climbed the Serie A standings throughout the second half of the campaign, emerging as contenders for European qualification.
Dovbyk finished as Roma's leading scorer with 17 goals across all competitions, while Soulé developed into an increasingly important attacking figure. The Giallorossi eventually finished fifth with 69 points, securing a place in the following season's UEFA Europa League.
In European competition, Roma reached the Europa League Round of 16, where they were eliminated by Athletic Club following a 4–3 aggregate defeat. Their Coppa Italia campaign ended in the quarter-finals against AC Milan.
Despite the disappointment of their cup exits, Roma's league recovery represented a significant achievement following the difficulties experienced earlier in the season.
Produced by adidas, the 2024/25 AS Roma away shirt featured a predominantly white design with distinctive red-and-orange detailing inspired by the club's Roman identity. Incorporating the Roma crest, adidas branding and Riyadh Season sponsor, the shirt provided a contrasting alternative to the traditional home colours. Worn during a campaign that featured three managerial appointments and an impressive recovery under Ranieri, the design represents Roma's return to European qualification following their fifth-place Serie A finish.

Condition
Each item is individually inspected and graded by our team to ensure an accurate representation of its condition.
Every item at The Soccer Archive is individually assessed and graded on our condition scale out of 10. This rating takes into account the overall quality of the fabric, print, badges and any natural signs of wear that come with age.
Most pieces we sell are vintage or pre-owned, meaning small signs of age can be part of their character.
Our condition guide
10/10 - Brand New with Tags
Outstanding condition with no noticeable flaws. Tags may or may not be present, but the item shows little to no sign of wear.
9/10 - Mint
Very strong vintage condition. May show the lightest signs of storage or previous wear, but nothing that distracts from the item overall.
8/10 - Excellent
A well-kept piece with minor signs of age or use. This could include light bobbling, slight fading or very small marks, but it still presents really well.
7/10 - Very Good
Noticeable wear consistent with age. This may include moderate fading, small pulls, bobbling, minor cracking to print or a small mark.
6/10 and below - Good with Noticeable Signs of Wear
More obvious signs of wear or ageing. This might include heavier fading, marks, pulls, print wear or repairs.
Any notable flaws will always be highlighted in the product description and imagery.
